Save the Date...

I have (finally) organised my Save the Date cards. I had the idea in my head for a while, I was inspired by something I had seen on Etsy and with my past career as a graphic designer under my belt, I was more then capable to design and print myself.

So the first thing I wanted was a postcard style to fit with our destination wedding. I created a postage stamp style logo for us, that included the date, destination and our names. I then wanted the air mail look so bordered with a navy and red trim.

We had a friend take some photo's of us for an engagement session, so I wanted to use one of the photo's. I had 2 that I loved, but my other half liked the traditional portrait so we went with that. Then on the back I created a traditional post card look with our text on the left, a stamp on the right and postage stamped, then lines and a postcode box.

I am really happy with how they came out. When posting them off I realised we have invited a few too many people (gulp) so fingers crossed a bunch decide not to come, otherwise we need to change venue.
